We do Prayer Walks on Bangla Road during the day to seek God's guidance, mercy, and transforming power both for the community, and for ourselves as God's servants in the community.

"We're praying God's blessing on Bangla Road. Is there any special way we can pray for you?"
We stand out on Bangla Road, oh yes we do!  We have been sent here to stand out, to shout Jesus's
name, to dance in the streets, to pray in huge circles, to help the lost, to befriend the working girls.

We are known on Bangla Road because we STAND OUT, imagine a group 25 college aged girls
dressed in long skirts and long shorts in a red light district.  If we STAND OUT so does JESUS.  Our
ministry on Bangla Road starts in the afternoon as we walk down the street on our Prayer Walk, just
really praying for these working girls, that they will see and feel God. We also pray for the men that
flock to Bangla Road.

Bangla Road is a whirlwind of bright lights, bars, music, & dancing girls everything is right out in the open for
all to see.

It is sad that these working girls leave their families to come to the bright lights of Bangla Road,
they are told they can make a lot of money working in the hotels and bartending but once they arrive they
do not have the skills needed for the hotel and bartending jobs, so they are forced into the working girl jobs.
They send the money made back to their families, so now they are trapped in the whirlwind of bright lights and
money. Their family back home now depend on the money they have been sending them. This is what makes it hard for these girls to get out of this life style. That's where we come into play. We befriend these girls, spread
the word of our Lord let them know there is a better way of life for them. The SHE ministry we work with has some
extra bed and we help with showing new ways to make money, like baking, sewing, and making jewlery. We love these girls as much as we can.

You might say how can God let this happen. Well God has put SHE ministries, my team, and myself right here on
Bangla Road, right in the center of the bright lights, loud music, and working girls. We are here to help one working girl at a time, get away from the whirlwind of bright lights and long nights. I can tell you The Holy Spirit is here on Bangla Road.  Saying, I am so glad your here with me.

“God knows your value; He sees your potential. You may not understand everything you are going through right now. But hold your head up high, knowing that God is in control and he has a great plan and purpose for your life. Your dreams may not have turned out exactly as you’d hoped, but the bible says that God’s ways are better and higher than our ways, even when everybody else rejects you, remember, God stands before you with His arms open wide. He always accepts you. He always confirms your value. God sees your two good moves! You are His prized possession. No matter what you go through in life, no matter how many disappointments you suffer, your value in God’s eyes always remains the same. You will always be the apple of His eye. He will never give up on you, so don’t give up on yourself.” ~Joel Osteen
I absolutely love this quote!

We will be leaving in 4 days to go back to Bangkok, and then in 1 week we will be leaving for South Africa.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Love,
Jayda
